You’re invited to join us at Canfield Avenue Elementary School in West Los Angeles for the back to school food truck event to kick off the new school year on Wednesday August 27, 2014. Got Food Trucks is pleased to organize the food trucks for this awesome fundraising event.
Located in the very diverse Beverlywood neighborhood of West Los Angeles, the Kosher Palate is the monthly resident food truck alongside a rotation of some of Los Angeles finest food trucks.
Joining the Kosher Palate for the season 2 premiere will be the following food trucks : The Greasy Wiener, Peaches Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen and dessert being served by Drive Me Cookie. There’s something for just about everyone at this awesome event from hot dogs to bbq, veggie to kosher options, burgers, cookies, ice cream and more!
A portion of sales from the food trucks will be donated to the Friends of Canfield. The Friends of Canfield is a non-profit organization that consists of parents and residents of the local community of Beverlywood in West Los Angeles to support, enhance and enrich the educational environment of Canfield Avenue Elementary School.
Find the trucks out in the front of Airdrome Street. Be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to dine al fresco by the picnic tables with your best classmates, neighbors and community.
All are welcome to attend, eat and have a blast, you’ll feel good about it, too –your dollars go to a great cause!
